Rules: We inforce USCF rule#13G: The rule is: Players who fail to appear for a tournament game, WILL BE FINED the sum of the entry fee. The player is barred from New Jersey events until the fine is paid. Once paid he may play again. Some players have violated Rule #13G. This is poor unsportsmanship that harms others by: 1. cheating another out of a rated game. 2. lowering his/her tie-break points, (forfiets yeild zero TB pts) 3. cheating another out of a prize (or even a NJ State Title) 4. forcing him/her wait an hour to receive a useless point. In the future we may allow violaters to play.
